Where PetSitClick may be the better pick
We can only be fair about what we could confirm, and that is little. So here is how to decide:
- It already works for you. If your team and clients are settled on it, switching is a cost. Do it for a reason you can name.
- A native app. Porchlight is an installable web app, not an app store app. Check what PetSitClick ships.
- Price at your size. We could not read its prices. If a solo owner or a very small team is paying less there than $35 or $79, stay.
Where Porchlight wins
- The bill does not move when you hire. Team is $79 a month for unlimited staff.
- A sitter app that works with no signal. A full visit can be finished in airplane mode: check in and out, checklist, photos, notes and access-code reveal. It syncs later, and the queue survives a force-quit and a reboot.
- Every notification is on record. Each is logged with a delivery record, and failures are retried, so you can look up what happened to any message.
- Payroll math from real visits, with a CSV export for QuickBooks or Gusto. It does not run payroll.
- GPS check-in and out, with the walk route on the report card.
- Boarding and daycare included, with a client portal and unlimited clients and pets.
- Your data is yours. CSV and JSON export of every table.
Switching from PetSitClick
PetSitClick is not one of the four built-in Switch Kit sources (Time To Pet, Precise Petcare, Pet Sitter Plus and LeashTime), so there is no dedicated importer for it. The Switch Kit has a generic CSV import with column mapping, a dry run, duplicate checks and rollback. It may work with a PetSitClick export, and the dry run will show you before anything is saved. We have not tested a PetSitClick export. Timing depends on how much data you have. See /switch. Keep your PetSitClick account until you have checked the preview.
