Time To Pet pricing: every plan, and what a team really pays
Time To Pet lists six plans. The one most companies land on, Team, has a base fee plus a charge for every active staff member. Here is the math.

Annual prices are listed for Lite and Solo only. Payroll is priced separately at $40 a month plus $6 per worker. The pricing page lists no price for texting or card processing.
What a team pays each month
People means the owner plus everyone with a scheduled service, since the owner counts as active. One person is Time To Pet Solo, two or more is Team. List prices, before payroll, texting or card fees.

Above 25 people Time To Pet moves you to custom Large Team pricing, so we do not guess a number. Porchlight Team stays $79. At two people Time To Pet Team is $72, which is cheaper than Porchlight. At three people it is $88, and the gap only widens.
Two things to check before you pick
- Seasonal sitters. Time To Pet counts staff who have a scheduled service in the billing period, so a sitter with no visits in a month should not count that month. Confirm how your busy season will bill.
- Add-ons. Payroll is a separate price, and texting and card processing fees are not on the pricing page. Ask for the full monthly number for your team, not just the plan price.

How much does Time To Pet cost?

Who counts as an active staff member?
Time To Pet says an active staff member is anyone with at least one scheduled service in the billing period. It also says office managers and administrators are always counted as active, so the owner counts.
Does Time To Pet charge extra for payroll?
Its payroll page lists $40 a month plus $6 per worker. That includes tax filing, direct deposit and W-2 and 1099 forms. Porchlight includes payroll reports and a QuickBooks and Gusto export in the plan price, but it does not file taxes or run direct deposit.
What does Time To Pet charge for texting and card processing?
We could not find a price for either on their pricing page, so we do not quote one. Ask them before you sign. Porchlight includes texting with a 5,000 segment fair-use limit, and card payments go through your own Stripe account at Stripe’s standard rates.
Is there a contract or a free trial?
Time To Pet says there is no contract: accounts are billed monthly and you can cancel any time with no fees. The free trial is 14 days with no credit card. Porchlight’s trial is 30 days with no card.
How much is Porchlight?
Solo is $35 a month or $350 a year, for the owner alone. Team is $79 a month or $790 a year with unlimited staff. The price does not change when you add people.
