What a small team pays each month, 2 to 10 people
People means everyone on the plan, owner included. Prices are list prices for monthly billing, in US dollars, subscription only. Card fees and add-ons are not in the numbers. Each cell shows the math.

How each tool counts your people

Pet Sitter Plus opens its pricing page on an affiliate view. We use its Standard view, which is $36 for Solo and $28 plus $14 per active staff member for Team. If the owner is not on the schedule, take $14 off the Pet Sitter Plus column. Vendors also run promotions. Our table uses list prices only.
What the table says
- At 2 to 5 people, Precise Petcare is the lowest bill at $45. At 5 people that is $34 a month less than Porchlight, or $408 a year.
- At 2 and 3 people, Pet Sitter Plus ($56 and $70) is also under $79. At 2 people, Time To Pet ($72) is too.
- At 6 people Precise moves up to $90 and Porchlight Team is the lowest at $79.
- At 10 people the gap is $121 a month against Time To Pet, $89 against Pet Sitter Plus and $11 against Precise.
- A year at 10 people on monthly billing: Time To Pet $2,400, Pet Sitter Plus $2,016, Precise $1,080 and Porchlight $948. Porchlight on annual billing is $790. Precise lists 5% off for annual billing, which makes its year $1,026.

Where another tool fits better
- You have 2 to 5 people and the lowest bill is the goal. Precise Petcare at $45 is cheaper than $79.
- You have 2 or 3 people and want a per-seat tool. Pet Sitter Plus Team is $56 at 2 people and $70 at 3, under $79. At 4 people it is $84 and Porchlight is cheaper. Time To Pet Team is under $79 only at 2 people ($72).
- You work alone. Precise Solo is $20 a month. Porchlight Solo is $35 for the owner only.
- You have 2 people and want Time To Pet. Its Team plan is $72 at 2 people, and its page lists QuickBooks Online and Zapier integrations. Porchlight exports sitter pay as a CSV for Gusto or QuickBooks. It does not connect to either one directly.
- You run a kennel, a big daycare building or a facility with a front desk and retail. Look at Gingr first. See Gingr pricing.
- You need an app from an app store. Porchlight is an installable web app, not a native app.
What small teams actually need
Move a visit when a sitter is sick
A sitter calls out at 6 a.m. You are not at a desk. The Porchlight admin works fully on a phone, so you can move the visit to another sitter from there. It shows up in that sitter’s own schedule in the field app.
Team has unlimited staff accounts, so you can keep a backup sitter on the account all year. On the per-seat tools above, a backup sitter starts counting once a visit lands on their schedule. On Porchlight they never count.
Visits that work with no signal
Basements, rural drives and apartment hallways drop signal. In the offline sitter app, a full visit works with no signal: check-in and check-out, the checklist, photos and notes. It syncs later when the phone is back online.
Proof of every visit
The client gets a visit report card with photos. You get GPS check-in and check-out and the walk route. If a client asks whether a visit happened, you have the record.
Sitter pay numbers without retyping
Porchlight calculates sitter pay from completed visits and exports it as a CSV for Gusto or QuickBooks. It does not run payroll. Your payroll tool still runs it. You skip the spreadsheet in the middle.
Billing and boarding in the same account
Invoices run weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly or per trip. Clients get a portal. Boarding and daycare are included in both plans, so a team that adds overnights does not change plans.
Plans and a free trial
Solo is $35 a month ($350 a year) for the owner only, with no staff accounts. Team is $79 a month ($790 a year) with unlimited staff, so 2 sitters or 40 cost the same. Both plans have a 30-day free trial with no card. See the full plan details on the pet sitting software pricing page.
